We arrived here by chance after all our plans were canceled due to heavy rain in the area — and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend such a rainy afternoon and night. We stayed in two out of three rooms in the apartment, but even in the shared spaces, the atmosphere felt very private and peaceful.||The place is beautifully maintained: the atmosphere is luxurious, everything is spotlessly clean, the garden is magnificent, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, and the laundry room is tidy and convenient. There’s clear attention to all the little details, with lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts. The apartment includes a smart TV, a hot tub in the garden, and room heating — everything you need for ultimate comfort.||The hosts were attentive to every request and even helped us find a place to eat when almost everything was closed because of a holiday break. Without a doubt, this is the best vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in quite a few!).||I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical when I saw so many glowing reviews on Google, but after visiting — I can honestly say they are 100% accurate.||The value for money was outstanding, far beyond what we expected. I also really appreciated the hosts’ commitment to sustainability, from using eco-friendly products to having clear recycling separation. Even small touches like labeling the light switches for each area showed how much care and thought went into making the guest...

Surpassed my expectations in many ways, highly recommended!

Either as a stopover while you're transiting through Golden Bay, or as a place to park up for longer while exploring the area, it's a great little getaway.

Ken and Steve, who run the guest house, are incredibly kind and hospitable. The beds, pillows, linen and towels are divine and the whole place inhabits this beautiful space in between homely and luxe. Everything is super new and clean as it apparently only opened up recently - and the wi-fi is great, which was important for me as I needed to work from my room.

If you walk out of the back gate, you're literally IN the Labyrinth Rocks, which is neat. And the gorgeous expansive gardens on the property are punctuated by dramatic limestone outcrops that divide the land into little pockets for you to explore on a long walk. It makes the place feel special and...

We stumbled upon this beautiful guest house by chance, and it turned out to be the absolute best place we have stayed at in recent years. Steve was incredibly welcoming and kind from the very beginning. It's clear that the two owners truly care about the place, not only because of how they treat their guests but also in the way they take care of it. The guest house is perfect in every way – spotlessly clean, incredibly tidy, fully equipped (the kitchen has everything you need to cook), and very well-decorated. The garden is stunning, full of fruit trees, and meticulously cared for in every detail. The cherry on top was the spa. We are very sad to leave so soon, and we hope to return as soon as possible. Wishing all the best to...
