Magnolia House — Hotel in South Island

Janet is an extremely welcoming and gracious host. My room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. There is a larger room available, but I prefer the cosiness of the smaller space. The continental breakfast in the guest conservatory overlooking the garden was delicious. This peaceful oasis is my go-to place to stay whenever I am in Blenheim. Apart from enjoying the general ambience, I have on several occasions, also shared some of Janet's superb evening meals. We were the only guests at Magnolia House - a bonus! The bedroom was a good size and the bed extremely comfortable. The property is set back from the road, so was wonderfully quiet. We had a wonderful stay at Magnolia House with our lovely hosts Janet and Konrad. The house is beautiful and surrounded by a stunning garden that invites you to relax and unwind. There are plenty of fruits and vegetables grown right there, and even their own chickens — a true little paradise! Our room was very cozy and comfortable, and the spacious bathroom was a real plus.
