Nice campsite directly at the beach. The campsite is a little sand Plateau 1m above the beach. There are some picnic tables and even a Cooking shelter. A nice site. Stayed during a 3 day kayak trip. Nice well maintained flush toilets, a kitchen area (no stoves provided) and benches. Beautiful views and not a huge campground so fairly quiet. Watch out for the Wekas though, they are bold. Most pitches although not on the beach...

Awesome campsite! Flushing toilet and a kitchen. Not very busy which was nice and the Ranger that was there was lovely. Be sure to take confirmation of your booking because you won't have any cellphone reception. Beware of the Weka's! They'll literally snatch food...
