Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lodge! Lodge is very nicely decorated, clean and warm. Beds are suitable comfortable as well with clean linens and bathrooms. Couldn’t ask for a better stay! Jenn is super friendly and helpful! She introduced her cute pets to us and i love how warm and cozy the entire lodge felt. Lodge is also nicely tucked just outside town, around 15 min car ride. Super convenient. Will definitely look to coming back!

Queenstown Country Lodge is beautiful. I stayed there for 1 night & everything was perfect. The little distance from the main road made the stay even more peaceful. It was well lit; the room was cozy & comfortable. Breakfast was like a feast. Enough parking places & very aesthetically decorated lodge. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing hospitality, and the most beautiful location. Jennifer made sure we had everything we needed and provided top service. All the spaces in the lodge were very comfortable, and we can’t forget about the cutest neighbours (photo). We felt so at peace here, I can’t wait till the day I can come back!

Beautiful country getaway close to Lake Hayes|We arrived at the country lodge for 3 nights , to find exactly what the pictures showed.|Set amongst paddocks and mountains a 2 storey lodge that had all the elements of country feel.|We were greeted by Jennifer, a welcoming, friendly host , showed us our room and surrounding areas in the lodge .|We were very lucky to be the only guests for the 3 nights.|I recommend the Remarkables room , on ground floor with gorgeous views of the remarkable mountains, it had snow on it for a few days too.|The lodge is tastefully designed with clean amenities a huge well equipped kitchen, lounge has plentiful seating with a cosy fire place and spilt system for warmth.|There is firewood and kindling provided.|My partner and I enjoyed using the jacuzzi which is a warm 40 degrees, robes provided.|Sheep, goat, horses and chooks are there for viewing and we got to meet gorgeous Thor their large black dog.|This lodge oozes charm, romance and is every bit homely.|Close to Arrowtown, Frankton shopping precinct.|We would definitely visit again.|Thanks Jennifer for making our trip to Queenstown an extra...

We have been informed that checking in was until 18:00 however as we were pulling onto the drive at 17:30 our host was leaving.Found a note on the door about how to enter and what room to go to. I have booked a room on the ground floor (The Remarkables)more than a month in advance and we’ve been given a different room ,upstairs(Kawaraw). We were the only guests in the Lodge. We had to carry our very heavy suitcases upstairs to finalise our packing for next day flight to UK.No tea and coffee facilities in the room nor on the landing.Had to go to the kitchen and took the chance to make a cup of coffee not knowing if I am allowed to. An information pack will be very helpful in cases like this when the host is not present.Toilet roll quality closer to a public toilet than to a Country Lodge. Breakfast was ok, bread was either stale or frozen. The whole place needs a little more care and love. For NZD254 a night was a huge disappointment. We have seen our host for few minutes at breakfast but couldn’t be bother to show up for our...

We stayed at the Queenstown Country Lodge for 2 nights in June, we had 2 lovely suites as we were travelling as a family. Mitch and Beck were lovely, and were able to allow us early checkin which made everything easer. My first impression was of a gorgeous property and the view from our room was spectacular, green rollings hills and lovely gardens. The rooms were really comfortable the beds were great and the bathrooms luxurious. One of our bathrooms had a spa bath which was so nice after a long day out sightseeing. As others have mentioned it is located outside Queenstown but this is part of the appeal, it offers a very different experience but is definitely close enough to drive in easily, it is also well located to head to nearby...
