10nzd per person per nite. Importantly***needs to be booked online. No self registration or donation box. Toilet block and ample parking for s.c vehicles. Beach right next door. Fishing, walks, monkey bay just along carpark and up and over stone steps!. Lovely views, some what cold early in day as sun dissappears quickly behind hills. Nice getaway close to blenheim and spring creek

We stayed here for 3 nights. Flushable toilets and cold showers. Didn't swim in the beach but did go for a walk over the hill to monkey Bay which is nice and more suitable for kids. Lots of space to put up tents and for motorhomes. Went fishing off the shore l. Caught 2 kahawai and a ray of some sort. Was using pilchards as bait. It can be pretty windy when it starts to blow.

$10 adult, $4 school aged kids. Younger free. Awesome place to park up. No power sites. Toilets and cold showers. No rubbish or waste dump site. Take insect repellent as mozzies are big and bite! Right by beaches and glow worm caves. Tides can change quickly round glowworm cave though. Good lookout up the stairs. Can see north island on clear day and further down south.

It had 8 lots of campers when we went. It is small but popular as just a good distance ,half an hour to or from the Piction ferry. There was a drought on in February and water restrictions were in place. It could be cold in the depth of winter. However it is in the part of New Zealand that has the highest sun shine hours so usually sunny. Monkey Bay and caves are next door really and pleasant walk to Whites bay is also close. There is no shop till Springs Junction or Picton so be organized with food.We had a nice family break there and have...

The site is exactly as advertised; a bare basic campsite with toilets, cold showers and water. Plenty of parking right on the seaside, sounds of crashing waves to lull one to sleep. Only swim able in reasonably calm conditions as the waves dump onto the shoreline. (a mix of gravel and sand) A couple of little glow worm caves for a late night explore. If you have kayaks the next Bay over has sea caves which can be entered in quiet conditions. 10 mins paddle, take care with launching off...
