It’s a wee way past White’s Bay (which is probably a better spot for campers) and a crawl up a winding gravel road with a steep drop cautioning drivers to take it slow. It’s not a great ride for the motion sick passengers because the constant curves along with the slippery dirt and rock. It’s a lovely quiet beach where you can bring your well trained pups to enjoy some beach time (DOC permit). There’s usually a few caravaners in the summertime but it’s not overly busy.
