Traditional style inexpensive campground in a fantastic spot. THE CAMP ONLY ACCEPTS CASH. No credit cards or EFTPOS. A genuine white sand beach that are uncommon in NZ. The new owners are sprucing the camp up. The previous owner had let things slip. Toilets and showers are old but clean and adequate. Free showers. Honestly box laundry $2 a load. Powered and non powered sites available and cabins. Lovely wee kitchen With all basic needs met. TV and washing machine showers and outdoor hose. Awesome prices too. We had an incredible experience staying at the camp and are forever grateful for Paula's kindness and helpfulness ❤️
There ended up being an emergency and the paramedics were called. She was so supportive and understanding, and didn't pressure or stress us. Her focus was to always make sure we were safe and taken care of. Super grateful and will visit good friends again 💚 she also has a cute dog, so we're not complaining
