Temple Campsite — Hotel in South Island

Really nice drive in, up the Ohau Lake and through farmland. The campsite is the starting point for the Temple Valley North Branch track. This hike is all about the stunning basin at the end. Unfortunately we never made it to there. This was due to missing an orange marker at a river crossing which diverted you past some windfall and we ended up on the bait track instead and decided to turn around then and head back.
