Read moreWell what can I say....this place is just magical.being a huge fan of camping I thought this would just be a step up but I was wrong....it was more than I imagined. Amber and Patrick (hosts) are absolutely lovely and cater to all your needs they are super friendly and the perfect hosts. There is a spacious lodge on top of a hill which has everything from games to every thing you could possibly need to cook with. They even have hot water bottles and portable phone chargers. The lodge so was warm with the potbelly woodburner we even had to open the doors in the middle of winter as it was so hot! The showers and toilets are attached with shower gels and handwashes. Then down a few steps are the 2 geodomes (winter) inside is wooden floors a large bed a trunk with extra blankets battery powered led lamps two chairs and a foldout bed/futon and a little portable toilet behind a little stand. They are completely private once in the dome and the whole of the front is clear so you can see the amazing views. The little wood burner in the dome has more than enough heat to heat the dome and it wasnt even that cold onto of a hill in winter. So so cosy. We even went to the baths a short walk into the forest....they had very hot water and two baths side by side with corrugated walls for privacy as there are two stations for baths to view the night sky.this was the ultimate experience and probably my favourite part. Just take down your wine and enjoy seeing the milkyway in the dark star lit sky. I cannot rate this place high enough....you do not need to take anything as everything you could think of and more is provided. 100% HAVE to stay here. Thabk you for the best experience....

Valley Views is undeniably situated in a stunning location with breath-taking views. The lack of light pollution allows for incredible stargazing, the hosts are courteous, and the dinner is delicious.
However, the misleading information on their Booking.com listing led to a highly disappointing stay.
The listing advertises "heating" as a feature, but upon arrival, I was informed that heating is not allowed in December. With night-time temperatures dropping below 10°C, the tent offers minimal insulation. By morning, the indoor temperature is indistinguishable from the outside. While thick duvets and hot water bottles are provided, they do not compensate for the lack of actual heating.
Additionally, the listing claims that the particular tent I selected includes a "private bathroom”. This was inaccurate. The tent has a private WC without running water, while the showers and wash basins are shared facilities - not "private" as described.
I raised these discrepancies with the hosts at check-out and asked them to update their listing to reflect the actual amenities. Unfortunately, as of now, their advert remains unchanged.
Accurate and transparent advertising is crucial to fostering trust in the tourism industry. While some guests may be perfectly comfortable without heating or a private bathroom, others should not be misled into expecting amenities that are not...
