Views over Tasman — Hotel in South Island

The perfect home base for exploring the West Coast! This place is cozy, spotless, and fully stocked. The weather was cold and rainy during our stay, so we didn’t get to enjoy the patio overlooking the sea, but we could enjoy the views from bed while staying warm and snug inside. The location is just outside of central Greymouth, so it was quiet and peaceful while still convenient to restaurants and shops. My partner and I stayed for 2 nights recently so we could explore the West Coast and we could not rate Views Over Tasman higher! Anthea was welcoming and accommodating of our needs, checking in and going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. This will be a rather repetitive review, but the excellence of this place bears repeating. A room full of natural light with wonderful views over the Tasman, as advertised. All fixtures and fittings done to a high standard and in good working order. Beds comfy, kitchenette full stocked, and a tin of Milo in the drawer (we had just tried Milo for the first time a week prior and are rather smitten at the moment).
