Wanaka Haven — Hotel in South Island

We have spent two nights here and I have been bowled over by this place. We have a beautiful dual aspect corner room with a luxurious en-suite. The views are to die for. The bed is really comfy and there is lots of space. ||We were lucky enough to be here on a beautiful sunny day yesterday and spent the afternoon by the lovely pool on fabulous sun loungers. Pool towels were provided. Felt very spoilt and lucky! ||We got taxis to and from town every evening as the property is 5 minutes drive from the lake front but these were readily available so that was no problem. ||Please note that there is no fridge in the room nor any tea and coffee making facilities but the latter are available in the guest lounge. ||Overall a super stay. Our stay at Wanaka Haven was wonderful! We booked for 3 nights and we were eloping so we got ready for our wedding there. Anne-Mie was so accommodating with every request we had, like hiding my dress from my fiancé before the wedding. The bed and breakfast itself had every thing you could possibly need: pool towels, robes and slippers, and all the bathroom necessities. The WiFi worked great. Wānaka Haven was exquisite. The lodge is stunning, private, modern, and comfortable. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was perfect. We opted for the premium room and received a gorgeous room with stunning views and a sweet welcome package. Jess, the manager and contact, was super helpful and provided us with amazing recommendations. We were Asked when we wanted breakfast in the mornings we and the breakfast was delicious - yogurt, granola, bacon, eggs, croissants, cheese, meats, fruit, toast, coffee, tea, and juice.
