Norfolk Motel & Campervan Park — Hotel in Te Hiku Community

We stayed here beginning of December 2018 in a campervan (2 adults, 2 small kids). There are only a few sites (hard and grass surface), however, you will not miss anything here! There is a nice little pool, a well maintained playground for the kids and clean toilets and showers with no time limit on the hot water. We can definitely recommend this campground without compromise.

We also would like to mention Kim, who is a truly fantastic host. She really takes the extra time to make sure you will be comfortable and able to use all the facilities that are available during your stay. She also helps you with tour bookings (even last minute) and has great connections with local partners. This is very useful if you plan to make the trip up to Cape Reinga via 90 Mile Beach.

We will definitely stay here again when we visit NZ...

5 stars ain’t enough to tell you how amazing our stay was at Norfolk motel with Kim as an amazing host. We are so glade that Kim was able to fit us in at such short notice. Kim you are such an amazing hard working lady trying to don your best to please all who stay at your place. Thank you for all your effort in keeping the facilities nice and clean throughout the day. Thanks for helping us out by closing up my caravan when I wasn’t able to make it back on New Year’s Eve. I highly recommend staying at Norfolk motel and camping if you are heading to the far north, you will not be disappointed. The only down fall we had was with the wifi not being able to reach us often, but Kim dose have plans on upgrading again in feb so I’m sure the little issue will be sorted in no time 😉 All the best...

Wow wow wow...seriously impressed with this fantastic place. From the moment we arrived, down the impressive driveway, where the motel and campervan site sits well seated back from the road and screened by beautiful hedging and native plants, we were warmly greeted by Kim. Her smile, knowledge and warm welcome were much appreciated after a long drive. We booked in and booked a tour at the same time. Her knowledge of the area and local amenities is extensive, enabling us to find precisely what we needed. The swimming pool was a welcome sight after a long drive and was used immediately. The facilities are excellent and well maintained. The only sad part was we wished we had more time to spend here, definitely recommend a visit. Thankyou for the pleasant and...
