AWAY Waiheke Treehouse & Forest SPA — Hotel in Waiheke

I recently stayed at a stunning Away Waiheke treehouse nestled in the heart of native New Zealand forest, and I have to say it was an absolutely amazing experience. My husband, our 10 month old baby, and I enjoyed our stay here so much. The treehouse was beautifully designed and had everything we needed, including a large outdoor tub, which was perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the island.

One of the highlights of our stay was the nearby gin distillery, which we were able to visit and sample some of their delicious cocktails. It was a great way to spend an afternoon and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Sanna, our host, was so kind, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. She even left a little morepork soft toy in the accommodation for my son, Rupert, which he absolutely adored.

Our stay at the treehouse was an unforgettable experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful getaway surrounded by the beauty of New Zealand's natural landscape. Sanna was welcoming to her beautiful piece of paradise with a treatment that was so beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by bush and birdlife making the whole experience just exquisite.

Sanna allowed me to switch off and submerge into blissful relax with organic products that felt lovely on my skin and aromas to transend. My therapy in the tent was amazing with every little detail taken care of, a warm massage bed, heated eye pads, a gorgeous treatment that was relaxing and restorative. I also was lucky enough to enjoy a magical soak in the hot tub in the forest sipping herbal tea where I was visited by a weka!

I felt I was part of a fairytale that I did not want to end!

Hi Sanna, Thank you sooo much for the wonderful stay we had at your Away Treehouse on Waiheke Island! It was such an amazing time! The Forest Spa treatements we had were divine! Such a comfy massage table, with fluffy duvet cover, lovely linens, and heated blanket felt an equally indulgent part of the treatment along with the massage, facial and gorgeous outdoor forest bath. I loved the added treat of meeting the wild weka who stole our packet of nuts! He was very cute and added humour into our serene pampering whilst staying at your Treehouse. The actual Treehouse is so beautifully natural, I love standing on the balcony and looking down on the tops of the Ponga trees fanned out below, and being beside the towering Kauri was stunning.
