Hotel Frontera — Hotel in Ocotal (Municipio)

My group was traveling from Honduras and we called this hotel to ask if they had availability and they did. We asked what was included and the gentleman said that breakfast was included. My entire group heard the man say this. The next morning when my group sat to eat, they denied that it was included and wouldn't serve us unless we paid. The night before they said that they would include it when they gave us our room keys. The breakfast was only $3 per person and my group didn't care about the price but only about how they lied to us. Everyone was so upset that we left without eating. Ate down the street and when we passed again we chose not to stay there again. This is a bait and switch hotel. Spend your money at another place that respects it's clients. We are not tourists, we are a group of Americans living in Nica buying coffee in the mountains. So language was not...

Very good hospitality-as always in this lovely country.||||Coffee was set up early each morning by poolside and was delicious. Breakfast each morning was very good, as well. Very good value overall.||||No need to set the alarm in the morning as the neighborhood roosters take care of that;) ||||Rooms were clean and I found the bed to be comfortable. Bathroom was a little tired and hot water was sparse. Conservation is important here so opt for turning off the water while lathering up for best chance of a warm rinse. We stayed for two nights and housekeeping was very good.||||Very good location for exploring Nueva Segovia.||||Wifi was weak-but that can happen in any city in the north.||||The pool looked very nice but we...
