G-Pinnacle Hotel And suites — Hotel in Kwara State

This hotel really tries it's best to meet up with your hospitality needs. From its outer structure, you get the feeling that you're at a nice hotel. The reception is quite good looking with all the necessary fittings. As soon as your step in, you have very courteous staff ready to help you in, ease up your registration process and get you into your room. All through, you don't get any less from these hard working guys as they're ready to bend over backwards to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Since I organized a program there during my stay there, I could check out their facilities. Nice gym, lounge, swimming pool and hall. They also think to give your all you need including dental kits. So why 3 stars? As much as the personnel try to meet your every need, attention to detail is lacking in some core areas and it shows. First, the rooms are small, and the arrangement in the rooms in the ground floor is queer. The cupboard is almost opposite the toilet, meaning you can't open both doors at the same time. Also, the only in-room socket is miles away from the bed with the other one hidden behind the TV panel. In my room, the socket wasn't working properly. Also, the bed is just too low and the towels are already showing the strains of over-use. The gym is directly over the hall, meaning you get loud sounds and vibrations while using the hall. Architecture of the place ensured that you could spy on my bathroom from the outside. Cuisine was good but not a great variety. The shoe brush machine was situated close to the reception's auto-sliding doors, meaning it attempts opening and closing whenever someone tries to use the machine. These kinds of details are all that separate it from being a top -notch hotel With better management, this could be a wonderful spot. All the way though, my stay was fun. I will give their welcoming and farewell 10/10, they have great receptionist, Kudos to them. Hassanat and Taibat at the restaurant was really helpful and professional. Breakfast doesn’t have much varieties and we are limited to just few items.||||Rooms are neat and bathroom is decent. Hot water keeps going on and off. Linen and terry are well kept.||They have a very nice karaoke event on Friday and it was interesting.||Music at the bar was good on every other day.||||Shortfalls: they only have one person that does grills, we couldn’t eat any grills during our stay especially late at night. ||The Chef need serious improvement in terms of food. ||For hotel of that 4 star standard, I expected more in terms of food.||The lady at the bar at night need serious training as far as customer service is concerned. ||||There is a banging sound during the day close to my room and it is really uncomfortable. I guess it’s because the hotel is undergoing renovations/repairs. ||||Managers at the restaurant needs to respect guest privacy and talk silently. ||||Overall experience was good thanks to the fair lady at the reception who get things done once asked.(she was on morning shift). ||The staff are respectful and keeps greeting every time. ||||Security in the hotel is really okay...
