Nightmare. The light went off in my room at 11pm. They come to repair it but they couldn't. After some argument with the staff I got an other room. That room had no working A/C. Argument with the staff again. I got an other room. Got in bed after 1am They did not prepare towels and soap in my room. So I went to the reception to get some. Then I realised that I cannot open my door. The staff cannot open it, too!!!!! They told me the knew about this issue but that was their only room. They just did not mention that the lock is not working. I had to wake up my wife to open it from inside The double room contains only ONE(!) breakfast. You have to pay 4,500ngn for the other one's. English breakfast: they do not have most of the items listed on the menu. You better to ask what they have. English breakfast: egg, one cheap sausage, some canned beans in tomato sauce, NO bacon. Pool is disgusting. I think a bird fell in it because a lot of feathers were floating on the water (besides of other items) Food from the menu: overpriced and terrible. Beet was old, dry, chewy. Mash was made from mash flakes Around 4 channels on the TV Rooms are dirty (A/C and air extractor were covered with black dust and I also saw the pillows before the put the cover on them... I shouldn't... Towels are very old and very used, grayfish instead of white), not maintained I ordered a beer at the bar. I had to ask for it three times then I finally got... an invoice of somebody else... Instead of the beer... There were only two people...
Read moreIf you come from abroad, avoid at all cost. You can ignore all the positive ratings, the hotel must have bought all the fake reviews.
Food was disgusting, a carton of juice actually came with noticeable evidence that someone else opened it before. Coincidentally this is the same lady doing the breakfast, that looks like she's got anger management issues.
Staff at restaurant will forget what you ordered and come back in 30 mins to tell you xyz has run out of stock. Breakfast was cold and staff actually suggested "can I microwave it for you?" The staff looking at the carton of pineapple juice will tell you they only have apple juice available.
The dish in the picture costs 9000 ngn which is 25USD. You can make your own decision whether it's worth it.
Internet never works and reception always says they're working on it, and will never give a specific time. (On the last night they told me they fixed it. So I assume "soon" means 72 hours in Nigeria)
Everyday you have to remind room service to change the towels. They'll take 2 hour to do so even if you ask them repeatedly.
Water from tap is always brown and smells weird.
And when you check out they'll play dumb and overcharge you 400 ngn for food.
In summary the hotel wants to provide the worse service imaginable, almost deliberately, and steal from guests whenever there...
Read moreWe stayed here with my family for 10 days. The welcome was nice but the first disappointment was the rooms. We had booked 2 rooms exactly the same price and discription. We got 2 rooms next to each other, one of which was large good size clean room and the second was quite small and problems with the door. We asked about this from the reception and they basically said we got what we paid for. We also had 1 set of towels in each room but we got this sorted after the first hiccup.||||Next disappointment was at breakfast. We booked the rooms to include breakfast but the staff claimed we had 1 breakfast booked per room, so we would need to pay if we would like breakfast for all. I checked our reservation again and of course it included breakfat for all 4 of us because it would be ridiculous otherwise. We sorted the breakfast dilemma with the reception, so didn't encounter further issues with it.||||Other than those issues in the beginning we had a good stay. The food was ok at the hotel and the drinks were good. They had a BBQ night one evening which was nice and another night they had a singer lady who was so good!||The location is a bit separated but in a secure...
