I'd rate the hotel a 2.5. I was really looking forward to having a great time at the hotel but was disappointed.
My fiance and I decided to lodge at the hotel (different rooms) a night to our wedding (Friday) . On getting to our rooms, there were no towels in the bathrooms.
We called the reception to request for one and they said they were going to send it soon. We didn't get any throughout the night. The morning of my wedding, my sister had to go downstairs to request for the towel and she was told they will attend to her after their meeting. This took forever and when my fiance was given one, he got a wet towel.
As if that wasn't enough, there was an initial agreement on moving from one room to another after the check out time on Saturday (wedding day) but on my way out of the hotel for my Nikkah, I'd told the receptionist I didn't want to move anymore as I still had guests in my room and it won't be easy to move people. We both agreed I was going to pay the balance when I got back at night (when the entire event ends). When I got back to change to my second outfit, my friends told me they were being embarrassed to move out of the room and they kept explaining to them severally that they can't move and the balance payment (4k) will be paid when the event ends. These people even came to meet me and told me to leave the room not considering that I was a bride that was about to change to her second outfit for the day. I was so irritated and I told the lady I wasn't going to move because I'd mentioned it on my way out that I wanted to retain my room.
Eventually , we discovered that the lady on the morning shift didn't pass my message across to the next person but then I told the receptionist it was based on bad customer service. Like i told the lady, she can't be in the hospitality industry and not know the right time to request for things. She knew it was my wedding day and I was still going to sleep in the hotel that night, she could have waited till then and asked for the balance payment but No, she decided to embarrass my friends all because of 4k.
Oh, did I also mention that the whole building smells of weed. The hotel management really need to look into that. This smell will ruin their business if care...

I had to start calling for the basics that is supposed to be in the room before my arrival. As if that wasn't enough, I checked out few minutes past the check out time and the receptionist there started forcing me to pay 30% of the hotel charges. Claiming her colleague called but that wasn't true. Insulting me with words and finally said, if it's because of someone that intervened, that he is free to go but for me, I have to pay. Trust me when I said she was rude shouting ontop of her voice. Will not recommend this place for someone that wants to enjoy their stay.
Their staffs there needs to be checked seriously. The road to that place is really bad, one can only go there...

Today again around 6:53pm the military man(security) man beat two guys customer in chalon.. this evening again the bar man in the rooftop (at the pool side) beat two ladies that lodge in 306 today January 4th 2024..how will a hotel collect thug as staff....that mean customer are not safe if chalon suites is not capable to run a hotel please close it down..me I'm checking out now cus I can't stay in an hotel where the security (army) wanted to stab a customer.....and the manager is here....staff is breaking bottle too to stab the customer....I'm calling the attention of chalon suites MD if anything happens to any customers or me it won't be funny...I have the full video of...
