Bjugn Hotell — Hotel in Ørland

Well the hotel was empty except for me and my coworkers (4). Our arrival was to an unshovelled and very slushy walkway and unplowed parking lot... it should have been cleared. Much to my surprise, all 4 of us were placed in closet sized lock-off rooms. There was no way to connect USB, bluetooth or HDMI to their television which was planted and immovable in an awkward place on the wall... not to mention the lack of stations. There was not really any room to put your suitcase or even work at the very tiny protrusion from the wall they probably call a desk. Breakfast is going to be the stuff left in the fridge; I saw an orange and a small carton of juice out of all of that which I can eat. There is no one from staff here, but it's stating 24 hour service... by phone. What a missed opportunity to show the lodgers what a great place this is. Well, for futures sake, I won't be staying here again. Ok, on the positive side, there is a bed and Goldilocks and her 3 pals aren't sleeping in it. This was a lovely room in a very nice hotel. We had a family room with a kitchenette and there were 3 supermarkets plus the vinmonopolet within a ten minute walk, so perfect for self catering. The room was nicely and comfortably furnished for two. It looked better than the website photos. The bathroom was very nice and there was no storage in the bedroom, but a reasonable amount just inside the door to the room. Breakfast was excellent and the two days we stayed, there were cooked items which was unexpected. The selection of foods was very good for a small hotel and everything was fresh and kept topped up.|There was tea and coffee available in the hall plus extra towels and a large fridge for those without a kitchenette in their room. Wir haben Monate vorher gebucht und direkt bezahlt. Bei Ankunft war die Tür verschlossen, es gab nur einen Hinweis auf eine Rufnummer an die man sich wenden soll. Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt. Nach 10 Versuchen jemanden telefonisch zu erreichen haben wir aufgegeben. Glücklicherweise verlies zu diesem Zeitpunkt ein anderer Gast das Hotel und zeigte uns den Ablageort der Schlüsselkarten. Diese essentielle Information hat man uns bei der Buchung vorenthalten. Ohne den anderen Hotelgast hätten wir im Auto schlafen müssen. Das Zimmer war toll, mit kleiner Küchenzeile, Veranda und Gartenstühlen, wobei einer der Stühle vom Zimmernachbarn (der keine Veranda hatte) einfach entwendet wurde. Frühstücksbuffet gab es nicht, unser Frühstück war aber schon vorbereitet und im zimmereigenen Kühlschrank abgestellt. Instantkaffee und ein Wasserkocher stand auf der Küchenzeile. Das Bad war gross und sauber, aber der sehr niedrige Wasserdruck hat das Duschen ziemlich umständlich gemacht. Auch die Wassertemperatur war schlecht zu regeln. Man muss das Wasser erst ein paar Minuten laufen lassen damit man sich nicht verbrüht. Selbst auf ganz kalt gestellt kommt am Anfang nur fast kochendes Wasser aus dem Duschkopf. Bei Abreise war dann eine Dame an der Rezeption. Trotz beglichener Zahlung bei der Buchung und vorgelegter Quittung über die Zahlung, wollte die Dame das Zimmer nochmal abrechnen. Nach 20 min Diskussion fand sie dann endlich den Vermerk im PC, dass bereits bezahlt wurde und wir konnten endlich...
