Nice place to stay, but DO NOT EAT DINNER HERE! The one star rating is because of the dinner they offer. The rooms themselves are very nice and the location is perfect just do not eat at the place. We had dinner and where bitterly disappointed! A set 3 course menu, smoked salmon starter- bland and lacking any sort of skill, you could do better at home. Main was pork fillet and a special request for baccala (which was on the lunch menu) The pork was over cooked, the sauce was from a packet. The baccala was watery and acidic - straight from the microwave. Desert was creme caramel, it wasn't set, it was like cooked egg. The best dish was the potatoe side dish. And to further the insult the 3 course dinner was very expensive. They rate poorly because the restaurant is not separate to the accommodation so it brings the whole place down. The accommodation has so much potential, a decent breakfast- better than the dinner - a great location and pleasant rooms they need to improve the restaurant 100% and it will be a great place to...

This place took our breath away completely! It is stunningly beautiful, calm and peaceful, there is so much silence, only the birds flying past your window towards the ocean, and there has been so much thought going into the decoration….. The colours of the building and the interior decorations blend perfectly into the landscape…. The art on the walls, the furniture, even the coffee mugs, everything is perfection. The bed was sooo comfortable, and the modern kitchen had everything we needed. It was so nice that there was no TV! It really is a place to get away from it all and relax, and we wished we could have stayed for longer than just one night…. We will be back for sure!! The host offered great advice on places to see and walks for our dogs. We didn’t have the chance to eat or drink anything in the bar but it looked lovely. We highly recommend this...

I spent two nights with my husband at the end of a holiday in Norway in August 2019. The place is absolutely fantastic: far from the madding crowd! ||We chose one of the superior rooms with two windows on the sea very big and comfortable. ||All the furniture of the house reflects the original nature of the place which was a fishing station: very essential, but extremely refined. ||We decided to have two dinners (three courses) and the food was excellent, very well cooked and fresh. ||The two supervisors, a Portuguese girl and a Mexican boy, have been really kind and helpful, besides being really good at running the whole business! ||We really enjoyed our time and reccomend this place for people who are looking for peace and relax. ||We are looking forward to...
