It’s was a pleasant stay and hotel is located convenient to many different. Room was sung and only amenity i found was gym which is fitted with many equipment and machines very satisfying to a hotel like this that I mostly enjoyed. If someone looking in constructive way utilising the space with placement of the machines meticulously could give more efficient outcome.
What incredible breakfast. Highest credit to be given to the breakfast which is more than a hotel breakfast. It is filled with many varieties of eggs such as scrambled, boiled, half boiled and fried. Many varieties of bread, fruits and vegetables. different kind of fruit juice and smoothies and many other with large seating area. It’s available on Monday to Friday 6.30 -1000 and 7.00 to 10.30 on weekends. Salute to the kitchen people who work so hard keeping all the foods fresh continuously and collecting the dishes with no delays.
There are all day free coffee available at the reception waiting area and a bar by the reception which serves alcoholic drink in the evening which has nice environment with comfortable seating in and out around. Also a cafe area with snacks, sandwiches and many other for your quick hunger. All receptionist are super cool people who are ready to serve you to the very best.
Walking and cycling path just down by the hotel and by the beach area. Ideal for bathing in summer as well as picnic places everywhere around. “ fornebu” super centre is in walking distance which has many shops for your all kind of necessities. I would highly recommend this hotel if someone looking for staying in Oslo area which Oslo city centre is less than 20 minutes away commuting.

The rooms were simple and effective, a bed with nice shower, clean and nice.
The breakfast was a lovely spread all cooked nicely with a good selection of hot and cold with a nice selection of local and international dishes.
The dinner night 1 was best salmon we've ever had, nights after that was better than average and enjoyed each meal.
Staff, most of them were great, but I'll cover more of this in the bad....
The bar, cosy and nice, good selection and service.
The bad, there was a group here for some of the nights, their behaviour during the evenings was outrageous, shouting and screaming in the corridors, banging on doors until early hours of the morning, the staff were trying to sort them out but with limited staff they had limited success, and even more embarrassing for the group the students were lying to staff about what they were doing, which at one point I did laugh to myself as they were being confronted and denying parties and noise when one of the group came out of a room screaming and shouting beconing them into the room to join the party, NITO, you should be very embarrassed by their behaviour and I question their integrity and professionalism after...
Read moreWent there for a seminar with the job. Didn't stay overnight, so will only comment on the conference experience. Executive summary: Not excellent, but nonetheless pretty good. Not much to complain, but also not much that particularly impressed.
Arrived by taxi. Public transport only by bus, which is not inconvenient, but can be crowded at times. The nearest train station is at Lysaker, about a mile away.
Good conference rooms (group/meeting type and auditorium) with big screens that connected without problems. No windows means no distractions, but it's also a bit exhausting. Wi-Fi was fast, but actually a bit too easy to connect: A completely unsecured, unencrypted, open network. In 2017.
Conference food was good: Fruit, popcorn, superb muffins, even a soft ice cream machine. Only warm drink options were tea and (pretty good) plain coffee, though, even for the meals. "Fancy coffee" only for money.
Lunch buffet was tasty, both cold, warm, and dessert. Dinner and wine as well. Good place to socialize. Bar, Shuffleboard, many sofas and lounge zones.
All in all, as I mentioned, pretty good, but not...
