Faksfall Camping — Hotel in Dovre

We were on route from Trondheim to Oslo and this was a very convenient stop. The location is lovely, in a beautiful valley on a working farm just off the E6. The owners are very friendly with really good English and the facilities are clean, if a bit basic. the price was very reasonable. We walked across the river and the road was very peaceful and rural. The River Gudbransdalagen flows through the valley and is very fast flowing coming down from Dombas. Very peaceful...

The most charming lively and quiet camping and cabin spot! I camp to pitch my tent but ended up getting a cabin as they were really affordable and it was raining.

The toilet and sevice building has everything even though it's old (even an iron and an ironing board!) The shower was cheap (10kr for 4 min) nice and warm with great pressure. Its a really good base camp for exploring the Dovre mountains. I will come again, and will recommend...

Super nice owners, great prices, very clean, peaceful and quiet, dog friendly. The nature around is lovely to take in. We paid only 300kr per night for a small cabin.
