Meretes Garden - Yoga, spa & retreat — Hotel in Fjord

Look no further - this is a perfect place to wind down on your travels. As a Estonian I value a good sauna and this one had it. We hit lovely 92 degrees. We enjoyed the bathtub with amazing oil that Merete let us try, played some music and made it very cozy for us. Kitchen & dining room area is spacious and it had everything to cook a nice dinner. Overall everything was clean, warm and neat. I liked that it is a newly renovated house but has still some nostalgic elements in it. In the morning Merete prepared us breakfast (for additional cost) which we enjoyed a lot. We ended our stay with yoga in the dining room. We got a good night sleep, the bed was soft and comfy with good pillows. When leaving I got a feeling that I would like to stay there for a whole weekend. This place was great. I was here with my girlfriend and it was an amazing experience. we loved it here, the place looked amazing and the service was top notch. we planed to stay here for only one hour but we were having such a great time that we couldn't leve so the host let us stay as long as we liked (and that was 4 hours). But for us there was to little fruit on the fruitplate but that ain't anything when you think of how great the sauna was. The other problem is something that was probably just bad luck for us and that was the waterpresure in the shower. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to relax and have a good time. We only were there for an afternoon at the sauna which is totally affordable (towels incl). The sauna with the big window towards the nature is so relaxing. And the whole place is amazing, everything tidy clean, high standard and lovely decorated. On top Merete was such a nice host and offered us tea and coffee besides the fresh local fruit she got for us right before our arrival. I can totally recommend this to anyone who is looking for a spa day when in the area. To take a walk through her garden after the sauna is the cherry on the cake.
