Quality Hotel Florø — Hotel in Kinn

The hotell was nicely situated on the pier in Florø. There is an outdoor restaurant along the shore. In the evening there was a smørgasbord. Unfortunately we had to eat inside because of possible foodthieves (seagulls). The food was good and plentyfull as was the breakfast the day after. The staff was very nice and serviceminded. The room was quite ok and wifi funcioned well. There were two good chairs in the room, which is nice since nobody has to sitt on the bed. The bathroom was ok.|| ||||The room was not very clean. The toothglasses in the bathroom had not been cleaned since the privious guests (rests og toothpaste) and there was dust under the beds. Good and plentifull breakfast, but leftovers from the day before made it less appetizing. It was too warm inside...

I gave this hotel a 5 based on the fact it surprised us how a small hotel in an area that’s not very touristy was so well done. I’m not exactly sure why I chose Floro. I was trying to break up the drive from Alesund to Bergen. Floro itself doesn’t have a lot to offer in terms of shopping or tourist sights but this hotel was again a great surprise. The best food we had in all of Norway. Free parking from 5pm to 8 am - literally nothing seems free in Norway lol. The room was small but immaculate. The staff very helpful. Clean hotel, great service

EDIT: Stayed here again arriving at 14:50, check-in time was 15:00 my room that had been booked a week before wasn't ready until 16:45. I was just told "go and sit down". It appears that they need more cleaning staff.

Once in the room there were no free plugs at the desk and the plug by the bed was broken in half.

Aside from the check in process the rest of the stay went fine, staff were great after that initial encounter. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good. I would stay here again but it's really not great to arrive at the check-in time and be denied access to the room that we...
