We just stopped by to eat something on our way to Svolvær and we had a great experience. The menu has basically traditional homemade Norwegian food. I had the cod and my boyfriend ox meat, which was extremely tender. Both tasted great. The owner was also super friendly and invited us to one of the creme brule (also really good with a super crusty caramel layer and even real vanilla in) that we ordered. We left thinking of the fish and chips that other guests were having, which looked and smelled great. So hopefully we are again another day on the way and...

Food was amazing and delicious. Pizza wich we ordered was indeed huge as the waitress said. It easily feeds 6 ppl and is totally worth it.

Also the restaurant building was so nice and warm feeling. Log-buildings have always been close to my heart. There was also terrace where pets were allowed to come, so we ate there with our dog. Huge +.

Service was great and owner of the place took great care of us entire time.

We didn't spend the night there, but I will on my next trip. So nice place...

We stopped for a coffee at Gullesfjord Kafé og Restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how cozy and welcoming it was. The owner was very friendly and shared interesting stories about Norway and local traditions. He mentioned they had elk on the menu that day – part of their traditional Norwegian offerings. The café is just by the fjord, with beautiful views all around. A great little spot that’s definitely worth stopping by.
