So, the staff definitely get like a 9,5/10! They’re helpful, kind, and very accommodating. Me, my boyfriend and our two dogs had booked through booking.com and for some reason they didn’t have the option to book with dogs? So when we arrived, they hadn’t given us a dog friendly room. That’s not their fault, and they did give us another room that we payed extra for (400NOK for dogs + 300 NOK for the room so 700NOK extra all together). The room was nice and clean, but the bathroom was somewhat old. The pool was also a bit outdated, and it was mold or black spots on the pillows in the jacuzzi. Parts of the jacuzzi also fell into the water as we sat there.. The sauna works but you have to ask them to start it from the front desk or else it won’t switch on, and some guest we met didn’t know about it and just figured it was broken. A piece of the stone interior of the ice bath was broken. The shower head leaked and the water went everywhere else but on us. Read moreFirstly - this is a very nice hotel in a beautiful area. But our stay was compromized by agency booking.com and hotel not being able to cooperate good enough. Booking.com managed to book two rooms of a room cathegory that the hotel only have one of. The hotel then asked us to cancel the booking - and very nicely gave us "the owners suite" (very nice - but hard beds and very overfurnized living room). Then both booking.com and the hotel managed to charge our credit card double.
