When I came here I wanted to give a 5 star review, the campground is nice and spacious, not crowded, the toilets are clean and the showers have no extra cost. The owner was friendly and check-in was fast.

However apparently there was a misunderstanding and I only paid for one motorhome instead of two which wasn't intended but I didn't notice it. Later that day, a woman came to us and in a VERY aggressive and unfriendly manner told us we can't just pay for one motorhome, we need to come with her NOW and pay NOW, talking to us like we are some kind of criminals. Of course I want to pay the full price but a misunderstanding can happen and I truly don't understand why this person was SO unfriendly and aggressive, we couldn't even answer because she stormed away immediately. Of course I paid the full sum after that but I thought about leaving immediately because I felt extremly unwelcome and disrespected. We decided to stay the night anyway but felt truly uncomfortable. Being respectful when talking to others should be self-evident.

On a side note, yes there is wifi, but it's 5mbps so the most you can do is send...

This is very solid, good quality camping area. You should expect helpful staff, amazing scenery(camping are has great view mixed with countryside and mountain range), clean and comfortable cabins and common areas. Strong recommondation. We stayed with to school age kids total of 4 persons. You can shop groceries along the way and the kitchen in the cabin had everything you need. We didn’t rent those bigger cabins, which might have their own toilets, but we didn’t mind using the common areas. It’s part of the camping life. I will try local chicken eggs tomorrow morning. We will come back to this place in our next trip. I think you can explore the are for 2 to 3 days easily. There are hiking trails and beautiful islands nearby and ferry rides to them. I believe there are many other activities to do, but we didn’t try them.

Thank you Phillip for...

The german owner gave us a warm welcome and we felt very comfy at first and thought about staying for a few days. The showers and Toiletts were clean and free. The WiFi was kinda okay but not enough to watch a Film or Youtube. But in the evening at 7:30 pm the wife of the owner came to us and told us very angry that we only checked in with one car and if we want to use the electricity for two cars we have to pay this as well. Of course we paid everything after (we never wanted to cheat on them). Its absolutly okay she told us but next time maybe try it a little more in...

I was working in Glomfjord approximately half an hour away. This was the closest accommodation I could find. I was rather sceptical about a campsite but couldn’t have been happier. Phillip saved my week and allowed me to use the popular cabin number 8. Basic facilities but was just what I needed. Warm. Clean. A comfy bed and a cosy cabin. The only down side which doesn’t reflect on the campsite is that I had to drive to nearby Ørnes ten minutes away to find somewhere to eat. I told Phillip when I checked out how satisfied I was and would definitely come again when next in the area.

I rarely give five stars, but this small campsite really deserves it. A tent spot costs 300 crowns. The price includes a shower (without those annoying buttons you have to press every minute), a new and very nice kitchen, and there are animals on the territory. You can clearly see that the owners care about this place. Wishing them strength and inspiration!

Beautiful camping site with a big lawn for RVs and great view on the surrounding mountains. The land lady was extremely nice and offered to wash our laundry in her washing machine since the one for guests was already in use. Showers and wifi are even for free!
