Rondane Fjellstue — Hotel in Sel

We ordered in june, and thought that late august would be a nice time to stay in the mountains. But by arrival the place, Mysuseter, and the lodge seemed to have died out. We were 3 guests accomodated, and was told that actually they were closed except weekends. OK, but why didn't they tell us before arrival? They did not serve breakfast anymore, and only pizza in the evening. We were asked to visit Rondane Høyfjellshotell about 1 kilometer away to have breakfast and dinner. The rooms are very bare and unfortunately there was a mess up with my reservation. Despite this mess up the staff was SUPER polite and helpful. Your basic room has a sink, a closet and two beds. Bathrooms are very clean and the dining area is quite nice. Breakfast was very delicious and everyone here works to make sure you are absolutely satisfied. I had booked through booking.com, so I was expecting that the final price would include a "hotel like" experience. Instead if you want bedsheets and towels you pay extra.
