I stayed 3 or 4 nights, and it is a good place. It is not only a campground but also a hostel/hotel. Maybe that listing in google could be wrong. They even have some private (not dorms) accommodations. The staff was great, the breakfast was good, and the owner was a professional and friendly guy. The view over the fjord from the cheap dorm room was amazing. I liked the feeling of the place being a little bit old and homey but it is true they need a bit of sprucing up in the main/original building. For example, if you are more than 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 meters) you might want to try to get in a room in the newer building because my feet kept hitting the base board in my dorm bed. They are a bit small and uncomfortable in the...

I would like to give more stars because the view from the hostel is really nice, and the staff seems to be nice, but you can see that there is a lack of hands to work, because the hostel is falling apart, since the door handles are falling off, the toilet is leaking into the room and no one is doing anything about it. It's good that we were only there for two nights. The breakfast is modest but homely. The bedding and towels are clean. Unfortunately, the road to the town is a bit bad, because you have to walk a bit along the street, but there is not that much traffic, generally apart from this street there are no other ways from the hostel to...

The location is really great. Some rooms offer great views of the fjord. In this village there is no choice where to stay. After spending the night in this hostel, I can say with confidence that it is better to change your travel plans and not stay here. This is life-threatening (photos of a working boiler in the toilet are attached). There is no internet in the room. Everything is very old. It was created as temporary housing for workers, but it continues to be used despite the fact that it does not comply with basic rules for hotels and hostels. The beds and mattresses are also of the same quality. The bed linen was clean and of...

The whole place felt very dirty. The rooms are just containers (barracks) stacked. No table to put any of our stuff, just two very dirty plastic chairs. The ventilation next to the window was covered in either mold or dust, and the whole place had a slightly moldy smell. Very thin walls between the rooms. The breakfast was also very sad. Some bread and ham and cheese, and eggs that had flies flying around. Coffee, orange juice and apple juice. Not worth the price at all. Pay a couple of hundred kroners extra and stay somewhere that doesn’t feel as dirty. On a more positive note: the receptionist was friendly.
