So. First time on alpine skis. I am horrified of great speed and heights. Took the H2 lift up to the mountain. I could not name how many times I prayed for my dear life not to fall from the ski lift which was panically steep. That was the moment when I truly understood the fear of death. Luckily, I did not stumble and fall, since my partner held me tight. My al dente legs carried me forward, until I met another, more calm ski lift F5. This time, it was this disc lift where I had to go up alone. The ride was fine, til I forgot how my legs worked and I lost stability. My darkest dream came true, I fell, but my legs got stuck and the lift dragged me up.. there I was, legs up in the sky and back in the snow. Yeah, the lift got me up, but with the price of horror. And this is the first and last time I will ever alpine ski. All the people working there are helpful and kind. Nice...

don't waste your money, this place which is run by skistar is so bad i am appalled.i am here for 2 weeks, the lifts are not working all the time, the runs are neglected, some runs are shut for the whole season and others shut for no reason. i have seen more people fall on one run than any other time in my skiing career, this is due to not weather but because they are badly maintained. some staff don't know the piste map of the mountain. there is a lack of ski run signs, i saw a couple with a 5/6 old kid accidentally go down a black run, i lost sight of them so i hope they were okay ? i always wanted to come here, i normally go to france and geilo in norway which all have groomed pistes. this place is a nightmare of a ski area. the hotel and village are great but i...

Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort with 68 ski slopes and 31 lifts, three children's areas, and several Snow Parks. Trysil has several popular resort hotels as well as large, modern mountain cabins and apartments. Most are located right near slopes and lifts. Radisson Blu Resort and Radisson Blu Mountain Resort & Residences are located on opposite sides of Trysilfjället. Both are popular choices for families and include facilities such as restaurants, bowling, water park and spa. In the area Skihytta on the south side are large mountain cabins with direct access to the ski slopes.

It is a fantastic place and I would definitely come back. That said, a bit too many ski trails where closed at the time I was there with no apparent reason. And a lift that should have gone to a nice green trail to another part of the center told you to get of to early and the only way down is black trails. A bit more signs and the place is amazing.
