This is a great set of slopes for beginners and intermediates. There's so many drag lifts and short runs. As a long time skier though I'd done 50% of the runs within 2 days (thanks to the cool skistar app) I was bored by day 4 and spent most of the rest of the days in the parks which were great and have a wide selection of ramps, rails and jumps. Theres night skiing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday is great... There's a more wild crowd in the parks in the evenings. The weather when we went was rubbish sadly which meant lifts shut often and irregularly. The flip side of so many beginners is that the black runs are empty... So you can go to Hogegga and hit those a few times via H1.

If you are talking kids there is no access to any of the bars with kids after 1630 when the lifts close. That then becomes strictly adult Apres Ski time. There's some wild action at Laaven and ski pub N is ok.

You can't buy beer in the supermarket after 1830 it seems.. and you can only buy less than 4.7% (As per all of Norway) you also can't buy any wine at all unless you go to Vinmonopolet which is a 30min walk into town.

The state of the panty tree summed up the resort for me.. there's plenty of construction going on but there's a total day great towards...

Trysil is Norway's largest ski area and it certainly has a lot to offer all skill sets!

There are many lifts which makes getting around easier. There is so much variation, we easily spent 5 days exploring and didn't get tired of the place.

Beautiful area, friendly staff, plenty of toilets. I will be back!

There was sadly a LOT of rubbish under the lifts as people eat or drink on the way up. Annoying that they choose to litter the beautiful nature! So maybe there needs to be more obvious bins around??

Some constructive feedback would be: To have different shapes for the different slope colours. Eg. Red slopes are a circle sign, blue are triangle etc. On the foggy days especially, it was hard to see if a sign was green, blue or black... It was handy to have signs at every lift and also an arrow showing where you actually were...but not all the lifts were labelled on the actual lift hut. Having a clock at every lift would be handy Make sure all the clocks are on the same time! We hopped off one lift at 4.25 and rode 1 minute down to the next lift and his clock said 4.31! That was the lift that we needed to get back over to the other side of...

A great skiiresort. Modern. Slopes for the beginner and the advanced skiier. Good Good in the restaurants. The only bad thing is that the food is expensive. There is a bath house with a surf machine. Also a bowling hall if you get tierd of skiing. You can rent skiies or snowboard. There is also a skii shop if you are in need...
