It seems to us that this place is manged very badly. First, we waited at the reception for around 10 minutes and no one considered us when ringing the bell, even when we went to the bar of the restaurant, it took too long to be noticed.
We stayed in an Airbnb closeby and were told by the host to rent bed sheets at Røldalterassen. We booked them via mail and they confirmed to pick them up during their opening hours. When we were finally served, they told us that they didn't know of our reservation and were out of bedding packages. We were lucky to get their last bits of bedding that didn't even fit to our double bed.
The cherry on the cake was that we still wanted to go there for dinner and were told that we have to arrive in order to make our order at 6:30pm because after the kitchen closes. We arrived at 6:20 pm and were told that the kitchen was already closed. That was 1.5h after we asked (!!!), extremely unprofessional.

As a former employee, I warn everyone about the methods that manage this restaurant. Ready meals wait in the fridge for 1 week. then they are reheated in the oven and served to the guest. The reason for this is to avoid losses. The overall quality of the dishes is very low. Everything is prepared from the cheapest and processed semi-finished products (you will definitely feel it at the first bite). They contain large amounts of artificial - chemical substances. Manager applies mobbing to employees, which makes the efficiency and quality of service even worse. I write this opinion for the sake of innocent people ... Chefs are employed without experience and change every two weeks...

We arrived in the evening to get checked in for our rooms. We were able to find the keys to our room, but our room itself will forever remain a mystery.
No staff. No one who works. The level of professionalism here is disappointing. If you're not going to have staff atleast have signs and house numbers up. The map is completely useless and whoever tried to guide us using the map clearly does not comprehend how to use one.
We followed all the instructions that the motel had given us but still a dead end. We ended up sleeping in the van. Freezing cold.
