Lemonsjøen Fjellstue & Hyttegrend — Hotel in Vågå

We stayed for 2 nights in this resort. Mari welcome us to the facilities and was very friendly! Check-in/out procedures was really easy. The cabin was very nice, impeccably clean and very well conserved (it looked brand new!). The kitchen was very well equipped and we cooked some meals there. There was a big table and 6 chairs, perfected fitted for our group. It had a dishwasher, which was very nice! The living room was spacious and cozy, with a fireplace. The bathroom had heated floor, which was plus :) The views from the cabin were amazing, to the lake Lemonsjo and the woods! The area was very quiet and peaceful. There was wifi in the main building (reception/restaurant).||Mari, one of our hosts, made sure we enjoyed our stay so she gave us many tips to explore the surroundings! The location is great as we are very close to 4 nationals parks: Jotunheimen, Breheimen, Reinheimen, and Rondane National Parks. It's the perfect headquarters to explore this area. ||The nearest supermarket is in Randsverk (5-minute drive). Other villages nearby are Vågåmo (20-minute drive) by the beautiful Vågåvatn lake and Lom (20-minute drive) with a beautiful stave church, a very interesting mountain museum and the gateway to the amazing Road 55.||We enjoyed our stay very much and we plan to come back for an...

We arrived later than planned but were welcomed warmly.|Food was exceptionally tasty, plentiful and beautifully presented. Home made bread at breakfast. |The whole family here get involved and couldn’t be more helpful. Full of insights and advice about the local area and even went out specially to cut a trail for us to ski that day. ||Cabins warm and comfortable. Ours had 2 small bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with 2 bunks. Bathroom with shower and heater floor. Spacious open plan living area with a small kitchen with fridge, freezer and dishwasher, dining area and sofa around a cosy fireplace. We arrived for check in just before 8pm after a long day of driving, and even though the kitchen closed at 8 they waited for us to unload the car and then served us dinner, which was really very much appreciated. The cabin was nice and spacious, there's no tv or wifi within the cabin which wasn't important for us but I'm sure it would be for some. I was a little disappointed that there was a road between the cabin and the lake; "lake view" created something in my mind, but the road isn't busy and is well covered by trees so I bearly actually noticed it during the 4 night stay.
