Disappointed by the camping and its facilities. The location is great, close to the mountain paths and city but that's about it. The staff wasn't present at our arrival, once we checked in we were not instructed were we can build the tent, what facilities we can use, etc. Staff was not service minded at all. The camping does not have enough facilities nor it manages to maintain it. There are only 2 showers and toilets for women and the same for men. These are not cleaned, were humid, moldy and dirty inside. The common kitchen was dirty as well and it did smell mold, though I haven't seen it. Right outside the common facilities there were trash laying for 2 days out of the trash cans and no one has emptied it. Very disappointed by the camping at such a beautiful place which so many...

Pros: ||- The view is amazing, you can see mountains, rivers, lakes and the sunset. ||- The kitchen is fully equipped, so you don't have to bring a lot yourself. ||- The area for tents is even and well trimmed, and there are tables for breakfast/dinner.||- Close to the city, able to walk there by foot (but a bit uphill). ||||Cons: ||- The price is very high, for one night we paid 300 NOK for two persons + tent. ||- There are only two toilets and two showers for the entire camping site for women. That leads to a lot of queuing. ||- The showers are free - BUT you have to press a button every 20 sec for water, so its not relaxing or a nice experience. ||- Very rude service when we arrived. ||||If the price is not an issue for you, I would recommend. Otherwise I would try to wildcamp...

My wife and I rented an A-frame cabin for three nights in July. We did not have towels and sheets so we rented them for 50nok per person, per night. The A-frame had 3 small beds on the second floor accessed by a ladder. There was also a couch on the main floor that could have slept another person. Kitchen was furnished but no toaster. The shower had good pressure, but kind of shared the space in the bathroom with the sink and toilet. You had to squeegee the floor to get all the water to run out. The bathroom needed a shelf to put your toiletries on. The view out the large windows was very nice. The A-frame had a nice deck you could sit outside and enjoy the scenery when the weather allowed. This is a place where at a minimum you needed a...

I would have given this sleepy little place 5 stars except for one thing.....they do not supply bed sheets or bath towels with your reservation cost. There were 3 of us, so we had to 'rent' bed sheets and bath towels for 450NOK or $45 US. And there is no shower soap of any kind. Which to me is outrageous, but whatever. It's a great place to stay if you're OK with a clean, no frills place to just sleep. Our view was great and the location was great. We would stay here again. Last and certainly not least the price for one night this time of year in Lofoten of 1400 NOK or $140 US can't be beat.

Common facilites where not good. Mold in the showers, push button for water was not working properly, dirty toilets, garbage bins that where overfilled and trash laying on the ground. Staff was not present and seemed like they had better things to do than give service to us. No instructions on check out time, where the different facilites are and general help. Positives; close to the hiking trails and somewhat close to the center. This place has much more potensial since the area is so nice!
