We have been travelling in Norway for over three weeks and been to over a dozen campsites and all-around this has been the best camp site we've been to particularly for the price (220 kr for a mobile home + 40 kr for electricity). The wifi was the best we have experienced with all devices getting a strong signal everywhere on site. Not only did I get about 40mbps download but I was able to synch my phone and camera photos quickly to Google Photos which has been one of the biggest challenges on free WiFi points. The site also faces north which provides a nice vantage point for the midnight sun. It is also the only camp site we have been to in Norway that has marine grade rather than standard European two prong power points but despite arriving late on a (relatively) sunny summer's day and the site being quite small we were still able to get a powered site. For payment they take all cards including Amex which is rare in Norway and the owner is also a really nice guy who directed me to somewhere in Svolvær where I was able to get an adapter to use Scandinavian propane gas cylinders in my German camper. Finally, they had one of the most well organized set ups for dumping chemical toilets and filling and emptying water tanks we have...

Clean and small camping. Owner and his wife were very friendly and hard working. Kitchen, toilet and bathroom were clean. It was high season in the end of July, toilet and bathroom capacity was on the upper limit. And even the water boiler broke down during the weekend. Bad luck, but it was replaced on Monday. Excelent care. We stayed here 6 nights and parked our caravan on the camping area. Good location to make day trips by car. One day we climbed on the top of the nearest Kleppstadheia fjell. Suitable activity for family - remember to take enough drinking water. Another day we rented a boat for 2h from the camping, did fishing and just close to shoreline we catched makrill. Pricy but unforgettable fjord fishing for kids....

3 stars.

A beautiful spot, especially if you get a place by the edge to the shore. Overall a clean place. For those I could give 4 stars.

However the 2 combined shower/ toilet rooms are not enough for showers and the kitchen is really too small for the amount of people - leading to waiting for your turn. Also the hot water was not enough for everyone. There is also 2 more toilets inside and 2 more outside so the toilet queue was not that bad.

Only one washing machine which was not enough leading to once again queues.

Motorhome with 2 adults 300 + kids 30 each. Electricity would have been 50 and washing machine + dryer 100.

So good potential, but would need more facilities at this...

Rystand camping was the first place we stopped and stayed in Lofoten! It was perfect to say the least. Such a great place to camp and watch the midnight sun 🌞 it was also were peaceful and quiet as it is a bit away from E6. We were pleased with the the clean toilets, showers and kitchen. We didn’t use the kitchen more than washing our utensils, but still such a clean kitchen and all of the campers were good at leaving it clean for the person after. Note that you need to be there in good time to get a spot (specially a good spot)!

Booking little cabin in this place felt like a bit of gambling 🎰 but after our visit I feel like we hit the jackpot! Cabin one without bathroom is really nice, clean, with all needed equipment. Common areas are clean, lines are small despite high season in the mid of July. Beach is beautiful there, you can rest there, swim there or have a great picnic or breakfast. Location - not far from main road but enough to feel really like you in remote place. Highly recommend
