We stayed at Rauland Vandrerheim for two nights as we visited Rjukan and the mountain Gaustadtoppen.||The hostel is nice, the rooms are simple, but clean and newly rehabilated. Not much places in Norway where you can have a double room for less than 1 000 NOK, but here it is possible. And a good breakfast is included.||Normaly they also offer dinner at ok prices. We had one dinner there, and the food was good.||As the hostel is situated beside a branch of the Telemark University, you very often can find folk artists, both in music and crafts, having breakfast with you. ||Next to the hostel there is a collection of old Telemark farm houses.
