Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Residence Duqm — Hotel in Al Wusta Governorate

I had the pleasure of staying at the Park Inn hotel for an entire month during a recent business trip, and I must say it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. In particular, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Mazhar, Jithu, and Abdullah.

They were remarkable members of the hotel's staff, were also instrumental in making my stay memorable. Their unwavering commitment to hospitality was evident in their friendly and professional demeanor. Whether it was attending to my room service requests or offering assistance with travel arrangements, they consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I had everything I needed.

Not only were Mazhar, Jithu, and Abdullah exceptionally kind and accommodating, but their genuine care and dedication truly set them apart. It was evident that they took pride in their work and genuinely enjoyed making guests feel welcome. Their positive energy and friendly nature created a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the hotel.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and unfortunately, it was disappointing in terms of service. Firstly, during check-in, the staff member assisting us appeared visibly unwell and wasn’t wearing a mask, which was concerning. Despite informing them that we were traveling with kids, we were given one of the worst rooms available. The room had a terrace but no seating furniture, which made it inconvenient. Secondly, the service quality was extremely poor. We requested plates, spoons, and water bottles from housekeeping so we could eat food for our children. Over the phone, they assured us that the items would be sent right away, but even after waiting for over an hour, no one showed up. When we called again, we received the same response, but nothing was delivered, and eventually, they stopped answering our calls altogether. If they were unable to accommodate the request, they should have been upfront about it. As a result, I had to go out late at night to a nearby supermarket to buy what we needed, which was very inconvenient. On a positive note, the breakfast in the morning was excellent, and the staff during breakfast service was very courteous and efficient. Overall, it was disheartening to experience such poor service quality, especially when traveling with kids. I hope the management addresses these issues and improves...

Very clean and modern, fully equipped Appartements with Bedroom, Living Room, Kitchen Corner and Terrace including table and sun beds. Own parking space in front of every Appartement. The area is very well cared, green and flowery. We probably were the only tourists here on our way from Salalah to the north of Oman, it seems, the Rooms are mostly used by international engineers of the building / developing sites of Duqm. The washer and dryer in the Appartement worked well and were very useful for us. Our whole (short) stay was very agreeable - we could also imagine to stay longer here. Breakfast and dinner was not included, but could be booked additionally. The Restaurant has rather canteen style, food is mainly offered in Buffet style (a la carte would be possible too).
