AlHawiyah camp — Hotel in Ash Sharqiyah South Governorate

I came with a rent 4WD, so be prepared to find the way off-road. About 5km from the last small village with paved roads. 4WD is a must, otherwise you get stuck in deep sand. The villas are without frills, from my point of view this meets exactly the environment you are in: desert. However, warm water is provided, buffet dinner and breakfast is included and both are very good. I generally dont comment for stay review much, but This place will make you love it. I regret only one thing that during my Oman trip, I stayed only one night there, atleast two night was required to make me feel satisfied. I will surely miss this place, till I return Oman ever. More of an "open plan" hotel than a camp. The rooms were large with modern furnishings with private bathroom. Dinner and Breakfast were provided and were both delicious. It is easy to walk out into the dunes to experience sunset/sunrise or enjoy the stars at night. ||If coming by 2WD car, it will cost 10-15OMR for the rest of the way to the camp, which is a little expensive.
