Hotel Hojari - Jabal Samhan, Salalah — Hotel in Dhofar Governorate

Horrible front desk, hence the 2 stars. Many mistakes, I booked ahead and payed by bank transfer, my payment and booking were confirmed by WhatsApp. I contacted them a night before, they told me that I have to pay on property!! I forwarded the payment and explained.. no apology, no answer at all! When I reached, initially they denied any booking under my name! After some searching around, they found my booking! The man in-charge of the front desk told me that my booking included dinner and breakfast, I told him that I knew it included breakfast, he told me no, both! I though hurray, that's good. I, also, wanted to take the larger room as we were a family, the lady on the phone, suggested the regular room with an extra bed, she failed to tell me that the extra bed will be an extra 10 riyals! The larger room would've been cheaper and better choice for my family! I just discovered that after I reached. Then at the restaurant, they said there is no dinner for our room, I was condused they called that guy and he just kept lying and insisted that he didn't say that! I reminded him of his exact words, he just smirked and refused to neither admit it nor apologise!

The kitchen staff offered to make dinner but I refused and ordered from the menu, as I didn't want anything I did not pay for, I just wanted him to tell me where was the mistake. On the other hand, the kitchen staff and the food were pretty good. Great attitude from the staff, chef and the kitchen's in-charge.

Only one electricity outlet in the room.

Bottom line, horrible front desk, decent room, good kitchen,...
