If you want to have a memorable stay in Naran then this hotel is definitely recommended. Initially we had planned on booking an apartment as they looked pretty good in pictures but unfortunately they weren't available. So we opted for the hotel. It turned out to be way beyond our expectations. Located high up on the Lake Saif-ul-Malook Road, it is ideal for those who are seeking solace from the hustle and bustle of city life. The hotels in the main city are way too crowded for comfort plus with the tourist season in full swing there's hardly any peace and quiet in the main city. This hotel provided us with all the solitude that we wanted. The entire hotel staff is extremely courteous and professional. No hassle in checking in. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The suites come with two sofa cum beds, so a family of four can easily and comfortably stay in one. Clean and modern plumbing in bathrooms is the first thing I look for when considering hotel rooms in such areas and this hotel scored high on that. Hot water was available round the clock. The towels were clean. All bath accessories were provided. The housekeeping dept was really efficient and rooms were cleaned on a daily basis. Bedsheets were spotless. The one thing that can and should be improved are the mattresses. Investing in spring mattresses rather than foam would bring this hotel even higher up on the ratings list, in my opinion. The restaurant serves a very limited but tasty breakfast which is included for 2 persons per room, however, it's very nominal even if you have to pay a bit extra. The main lunch and dinner menu is quite good with slightly higher prices but then I guess they are entitled to charge a bit more than the other restaurants in the main city. That said, the food is really good especially the barbecue. The chef, on our request whipped up chocolate and pineapple pastries which were out of this world and at par with the best bakeries in the world. So, all in all, it was one of the best experiences in the northern areas. I, for one, am definitely recommending this hotel for everyone planning to...
Read moreI had the chance to stay at barcelo at the time of the Eid holidays in June 2025. It was overall very okish experience. I'm not sure why people give this property such a high rating other than the fact that the breakfast was good and had multiple options. I had booked a family suite, and I would recommend not to fall into the deceptive picture displayed on the website. The sofa cum bed were very small for adults to sleep. The room was also smaller compared to the picture. There was no dustbin in the whole of the room or washroom The water was leaking from the washroom and came into the room There was very little cleanliness. Multiple holes and burn marks were seen in sofa s. The hotel was almost empty when we checked in at 10 pm. All night long people came to see rooms and the walls were paper thin. Me, who is a light sleeper, I can't sleep all night, to be honest.
The front desk person was cooperative, don't remember his name. Rest of the staff was clueless.
The only thing that made my day was the breakfast, which had multiple options . Eggs were re filled in a timely manner. I wish there was coffee also included in the breakfast They had full desi nashta, which was filing and kept us full throughout our day
The road outside is pretty much broken, and it's at the further end of Saif ul malook road. He gets pretty rushy at night. It's also quite a walk from the hotel to naran bazar. I paid 36k for one night and 4 breakfasts.
I won't recommend this for families at all as it's not valuable for money . Only plus that the exit is just near naran. Early exit is recommended as it gets...
