Airai Water Paradise Hotel was a fantastic place for our family to stay for a getaway. The staff were delightful and always available and made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The pool and winding waterslide was perfect for our boy who had just turned 3 years old and he loved the water. Breakfast was really good - some days were buffets and others were ordered from a selected menu which gave us bigger serves than when the buffet was on. Dinners and lunches were also available in the hotel with a selection of cuisines at affordable prices. We felt very safe at the hotel and were blessed to discover Palau Escape shop in the hotel which offered wonderful dive/snorkelling/adventure tours led by Joe and captained by Francis who discovered most of the sites including Blue Corner and established tourism in Palau. Choosing to stay at Airai Water Paradise Hotel was a highlight of our trip as it was a special treat to stay there and was just what we were looking for as accommodation and it made for a wonderful hotel and perfect retreat from the bustle of Koror. My family had a fantastic stay at Airai Water Paradise Hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you to all the staff for a...

The bad point is the location. Far from Koror where everything is. They have a free shuttle service, but with a limited number of trips to the WCTC commercial center per day, and you need to book at least one hour before. A trip out of the time table will be charged 5 dollars per person. Airport shuttle service is free. The hotel itself isn't bad, located in a very quiet place, with a view on the ocean (a bit far) and on the jungle. There are two pools and two water sliders open until 10:00 pm. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant is simply not good. They don't have the advertised coconuts, and the drink menu is quite poor. The building itself is old badly aging concrete painted with different colors. The reception and restaurant are decorated with quite nice wooden panels. The staff is nice and helpful. We got upgraded to the honeymoon suite on arrival, and it has a huge private terrace plus a very big bathroom (toilets not separated) with a large bath tub and a large shower. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning efficient. A good place if you want mainly to relax and enjoy the pool, a bad place if you expect good food and want to practice...

Not in town proper but close to the airport. Since we rented a car, it was easy for us to go to places.

Spacious Rooms&Dining Area. I really loved how much space we got! Two queen beds, large patio, large bathroom, cabinets etc! Also got accessible water dispensers and reliable wifi!

Breakfast rotation menu can be improved. Stayed for six nights but offered plated breakfast, repetitive menu (ham, mashed potato/fried potato, chicken sausage, toast, pancakes) it could have been better if we were asked for options instead of just coming in every morning and automatically served the plate.

Please take note that this is an old hotel, there is a certain charm to it but also the wear and tear. I guess the water slides arent functional when we got there and the larger pool needs cleaning.

Pricepoint is okay this hotel isnt bad but is also not jaw dropping awesome. Just okay-okay

Staff are...

For Palau, this place is good value for money. There is no beach access, and only limited views of the ocean, but it's close to the airport and much less pricey than the other options. Most of the guests seem to be those jumping off to a liveaboard dive boat They can arrange for you to rent a car for about $55/day, insurance included. I highly recommend doing this if you have an extra day on the island

This place works for me. Good value for money with a convenient location to the airport and pick up service. Helpful friendly staff, clean hotel in a quiet location but close enough to town with a shuttle service. Restaurant has an extensive menu with local, western Chinese & Japanese food.

We stayed here for a day rest before our flight home. The resort is very dated but has a certain charm. The pool (while dated too) was amazing with a really great water slide that kept us and the kids occupied for hours! Staff were really friendly too.
