This is probably the nicest hotel in Las Tablas. The underground parking is secure with friendly attendants which we appreciated. Our room was huge, with a large adjoining bathroom. But we had issues with a few things: the strange door lock to the balcony defied understanding - we needed to get help figuring out how to use it! (a first for us). Visitors have access to the hallway light fixture on/off switch; with a large window over our door, whenever someone turned this light on at night it lit up our room until someone turned it off again. Which was really annoying! The restaurant was OK for dinner, but an absolutely dismal breakfast included with our rate. Neither of us were interested in eating there after seeing at what was available. I read another review that said if you want the good breakfast items you need to get there really early? We were there at 7am! But the worst part of all was the two page contract we were asked to sign stating we understood we would be fined if we brought outside food or drink into the room! ||||All in all this was the oddest and most unpleasant hotel experience we have ever had. if you are just passing through, it probably would be fine for a night. I parked a car in the subterranean garage which is locked and gated each time you go in and out, which was a bit of a hassle to ask someone to open up when coming and going. The downstairs restaurant has a nice menu and the staff in the restaurant was much more friendly than the hotel staff, who I found kind of sour at times. I did not see another hotel in Las Tablas that seemed to compare as a place that I would want to stay instead. I would recommend this hotel if you are...
