After inspecting all the hotels and hostels in this tiny town we chose to stay here. The comfort of the room was great. Excellent bedding and pillows provided as well as high quality towels. The room was nicely decorated. The view was stunning. And the breakfast that was included in the price was very good as a lot of it comes from the fresh garden on the premises. There is a ceiling and oscillating fan in the room which is all that is needed as this mountain town is quite cool except for just a couple hours out of the day. There is hot water and good water pressure although I had a bit of difficulty with it being continuous through my shower. The only issue we had was that the dog that is on the premises barks at things all night and comes into the restaurant by the tables while eating. Although he is very sweet, he should be put away at night and kept out of the eating area. There was a full bar which delighted my husband because he was able to grab a beer and enjoy the cool breeze and gorgeous view, while swinging in the hammock, drinking a cold one. If you are into hiking or have a car to go view the scenic routes, this is a perfect place for you. The ants are a bit of a problem but you are in the jungle of Panama so that is expected. Just don’t bring food into your room. All in all it was a great find on our exploration of off the beaten path...

My wife and I stayed for two nights on 24 and 25 March 2023 and we thoroughly enjoyed being at this hotel. The owner and the staff are excellent, they are very customer focused! When we arrived they brought freshly made tea with honey to our room( tea leaves from their garden) and they bend over backwards to help in any way. The food is so delicious. We had a filet of tuna and side of rice and vegetables and the tuna was perfectly prepared. The next night we ordered meatballs on a salad, and the seasoning of the meatballs was incredible. Of course there were other selections on the menu and all are so savory.Every morning we had a tasty breakfast of crepes, eggs, fresh fruit and an assortment of fruit juices and coffee. The hotel offers tours to the National Park ( so many breathtaking scenic views) or to other parts of Santa fe, transportation to hiking trails, yoga and massages. However, if you just want to decompress and simply do nothing, this is your place! It is so peaceful, and the view from the hotel is so calming. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel if you plan on visiting the National Park...
