I stayed here for six nights I was the only one there all six nights I think people only come when the turtles are laying their eggs. The couple who run it are fantastic people! I don't speak much spanish but we managed anyways, Anna's husband gave me a tour twice around the area a beach further up and some back roads around the area where he raises cattle. The town is really small and the beach is only good for swimming at low tide but the beauty of this seclude beach really can't be beat I was the only one on this beach for hours!||If you want to see panama and not a bunch of other backpackers talking the same stuff and the same places like some big tour group then head here. A place to mingle with the locals and try to pick up some spanish. As far as the hostel itself it's a two bedroom house basic but nice and clean with a well stocked kitchen, lots of pots and pans, in her yard she is raising a bunch of chickens, ducks and turkeys oh and some geese. Fun to watch while swinging in the hammock don't worry the yard is kept clean and as the name suggests there are iguanas around...

We came across other travelers that were doing fine getting around using the Panama bus system. Several laid back restaurants a bit further down the road. I highly recommend...
