Los Brezos Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Volcán

We stayed at the Hotel Los Brezos in Volcan Panama for almost a week. Without fail, the staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating. We were in the area to hike and then do the big trek to the top of the Volcan Baru. Without our asking, the hotel helped us in every way possible. The morning of our trek, they had staff up at 3am preparing us breakfast so we would not start hiking on an empty stomach. When we returned, the staff welcomed us back like long lost family and inquired, with sincerity, about our trek experience. In addition the rooms are top class, modern, clean and beautiful. We had a wonderful view of the Volcan! We loved the restaurant so much that we ate all of our dinners here despite the many options in the town. We are friends of the owners and never stayed in a room because we live near by but send our Real Estate clients there. We have seen all of rooms and they are modern and very clean. Los Brezos is definitely an upgrade from any other hotel in Volcan. When you enter you are always greeted by the friendly staff. The restaurant is terrific with many options and a Sunday breakfast brunch. 4 times a week I go there for the best Omelet with Gouda Cheese, Ham and Mushrooms with a side of Hojaldre Bread for about $5. I spent 3 nights recently at this property and enjoyed it very much. Most importantly, everything was clean and comfortable. Service was outstanding! Though modern in style, the hotel had lots of character in design and artwork. The bed was super comfy and I slept very well each night. One thing I really enjoyed was that I could sleep as late as I liked and still come downstairs to a breakfast of my choice cooked for me (included in the room rate). The coffee was especially delicious! I also had dinner one night in the restaurant and it was very good. There's also a very special restaurant nearby worth going to, Cerro Brujo...not...
