We (a married couple) really liked staying at this place. Our room was basic (no TV or fridge, for example), but it was clean and not cramped. The bathroom was clean as well. In the common areas, which are shared facilities, there was a fridge that we could use, a stove, pots, pans, dished, all sorts of cooking utensils, and cutlery in the kitchen; and a TV and a table tennis set in the living room. |This place has laundry machines and driers, and guests can use them for a small fee. You also have an option to have your laundry done for you for a very small fee. BTW, you can pay for the laundry machine (only 5 Kina per load) and use the clothes rope for free. |The breakfast is included and was very nice (coffee, bread, butter, eggs, fruit). For lunch and dinner, we headed to a nearby place called the Sweet Spot, just around the corner. (The meals were awesome.)|It was nice to be able to use the shared areas at MHMH, sit with a cup of coffee (it is great that water, coffee, peanuts are provided free of charge) and chat with the other guests. On the way from the airport, he dropped us off at a local store, pharmacy, and a hotel (to exchange money and buy Mt. Hagen singsing show tickets). For a small fee, he also drove the guests to the show grounds and back on both days. Eric is very knowledgeable about the area and the way of life of the local people, and we appreciated all the information he shard with us. He is such...

The central location in Hagen is good, but the most refreshing aspect is the great, immaculately clean accommodation along with the always helpful and friendly staff lead by Eric. I have stayed in a single room and self contained apartment but mostly the apartment. I wish my home kitchen was as well stocked with all the possible needs in the area of cooking gear. The bed in the apartment was great, so comfortable. I stayed in Apartment 'B' which is in the front of the building, it can be a little noisy from the road out the front and other guests using the...
