Doing business in PNG is rarely easy or straightforward. For every step forward there is often a half step backwards, a dodge to the right and a duck to the left. When faced with these challenges, it is especially nice to find a reliable and uncomplicated hotel. Paddy’s Hotel provides a trouble-free, relaxing and comfortable home away from home.||||I have stayed many times at Paddy’s, and with every return I am greeted more like family than as just a guest. The rooms, restaurant and facilities are well appointed and comfortable, the quality of the service and the personal attention from the staff are unbeatable. I have always found the rooms and the hotel in general to be exceptionally clean and in good order, the hot water and power are reliable and the new WiFi system allows for good connectivity throughout the property. There is a good selection of TV channels catering to news and entertainment.||||Like all major hotels in PNG, Paddy’s is nestled within a secured compound, however, the security is not overbearing but it effective. It is helpful that the hotel has transport available for airport pickup-up and drop-off, and will also provide a shuttle service to town on request. ||||Having been a frequent visitor to Paddy’s, I am happy to report that the quality of the food and the service has been constantly improving for the past 6 months. In general, Paddy’s is on an upward trend, and getting better...

No elevators and I struggled with my suitcase up to the 4th floor. Didn't help when the security door did not respond to the card and I had to go down again. The area surrounding the hotel had a poor reputation but it seems...
