The Hotel Los Alpes is rather far, about 2 km or so, from, the centre of San Bernardino. Situated on the main approach road to San Bernardino it has, hopefully, seen better days; overall its facilities are a little tired, but functional. The in-house restaurant serves tolerable food, but nothing more. The hotel grounds, and rather small swimming pool, are reasonably clean, but nothing more. Guest rooms are not notably plush or spacious; however their rates are not particularly expensive. Hotel is located about a 3 km out of the centre of San bernardino on the asuncion route. Breakfast is self service. No problem if you ask for eggs at no extra charge. The owner is very hospitable. Knowing that I was the only guest in the hotel one day, she opened a restaurant just for me and she cooked a dinner for me by herself. Los Alpes Hotel es una opción con una ubicación excelente, ideal para quienes desean estar cerca de todo. Nuestra experiencia fue en general positiva, pero hay algunos detalles a mejorar. Nos hospedamos por una noche y, al llegar, nos ofrecieron una atractiva promoción de dos noches con desayuno buffet incluido y un almuerzo, lo cual fue un gran detalle.

Las amenidades del hotel son muy lindas y permiten disfrutar de una estancia relajante.
