Hotel Golondrina — Hotel in Filadelfia

Hotel Golondrina,like most things in Filadelfia, is located on Av. Hindenberg. I think there is one or two other hotels in town. Breakfasts are superb, with hot and cold selections. I seemed to be the only one there not attached to a company. Workers at breakfast had on matching shirts. Be aware there are TWO Hotel Golondrinas, under the same owner, and of course on the same avenue. I had someone coming to meet me, and realized I hadn't stipulated which one. Returned to Filadelfia after about a seven year absence and as the only other hotel I ever stayed at in the past in town, as this was about my seventh visit since 1999, a competitor, was full, so had to find another place to stay and found this one. Rooms VERY clean although quite spartan, breakfast very good with lots of options, and reasonable nightly rate. Very good for a few nights. Limited choice of accommodations in Filadelfia. Fußmattem, Fußmatten, Fußmatten. Es fehlen überall Fußmatten. Der ganze Sand wird so schnell ins Zimmer getragen, dass der sich direkt überall bis ins Bad verteilt. Zudem hatten wir kein Fenster mit Tageslicht, das Regal über dem Waschbecken war schief, sodass wir nichts abstellen konnten. Bei der Dusche lässt sich schlecht die Temperatur einstellen und die Elektrik in der Dusche/Duschkopf mit offenen Kontakten finde ich gefährlich.

Unser Zimmer wurde nicht einmal in den 3 nächten sauber gemacht und unser Klopapier ist auch alle gegangen.

Unser Bettlaken hatte einen großen Fleck (anscheinend Öl) und der Bettbezug hatte auch einen festen weißen Fleck. Außerdem hatten wir Ameisen in unserem Zimmer. Ekelhaft.

Das Frühstück war einigermaßen ok. Es gab Obst, Brot, Wurst, Käse, Rührei usw. Aber die Säfte waren viel zu süß und haben nicht geschmeckt. Außerdem gab es nicht mal normales Wasser zum trinken. Man musste kaffe, Kakao, Milch, zu süßen Saft oder süßen Tee nehmen. Oder eben nichts.

Der Preis für das Zimmer ist ziemlich gut. Aber unter dem Strich bin ich mit meinem Aufenthalt unzufrieden. In einem Hotelzimmer das Bedürfnis zu haben es einfach verlassen zu wollen,...
