Jamuy Amantani Lodge de ALL TRIP — Hotel in Amantaní

As part of a 2-day tour of Lake Titicaca, we had the privilege to stay overnight on the Amantani Island, at the Jamuy Amantani Lodge, and wow, what a wonderful experience it was. On arriving to the Island, we were greeted by our host, Romulo, and from that point, we enjoyed spending time with him and his wife Silveria.

Our room was excellent, with a wonderful view of the lake and nice comfortable beds. There were two sets of bathrooms, including hot water :)

We were truly spoilt with the food that we were provided - lunch, dinner and breakfast the following morning - extremely tasty, home-cooked food. Even when we had finished our plates, more food was immediately offered to us. We did not go hungry!

For the evening, Silveria provided us with some traditional clothes and we were off to dance and sing with locals on the island. Music was fun with a very high tempo throughout. It was tiring to dance at that speed, but it was a lot of fun.

We had a beautiful stay with Romulo and Silveria! Romulo met us at the pier and walked with us to his home. Our room was very comfortable with an amazing view over the lake. The stay included 3 HUGE meals and we had a great time chatting with them as we all ate together. During the evening, Silveria lent us traditional local clothing and took us to a fiesta to dance with a live band....
