Fantastic place near the port of Ocosuyo in Amantani, surrounded by nature with sweeping views of the lake and Taquile Island. Rustic and bucolic environment but at the same time very clean.||Simple but clean and tidy rooms. There is no heating but there are many blankets and lanotte we have not had cold. There is no hot water but it was already known. Bathroom consisting of two toilets and two sinks, shared, clean.||Excellent dinners and breakfasts prepared with care, beyond our expectations, in a very beautiful room with a window overlooking the lake. Always available to all hot water with coca leaves and instant coffee. No Wi-Fi and bad phone network.||Osvaldo and his family were very welcoming and helpful.||Truly a magnificent place of its kind, clearly if you want a 5-star luxury hotel this is not the...

Read moreWe spent 1 night on Amantani Island at Titicaca Lodge after having spent 1 night on Uros Island. The room was clean with amazing sparkling lake view. New toilet ( with flush), clean shared bathroom with hot powerful shower as well. The restaurant area offers a magnificent view on Titicaca Lake and the food was excellent, made of local organic products. We loved the Aji de Gallina, and the local pancakes for breakfast. Fruits were excellent too. Oswaldo and his wife were very generous, they helped us to call Tour Peru in Puno to book our next day bus and our boat driver to ensure we get picked-up at the port closest to the lodge (there are two small pier in Ocosuyo). They also offered to us a small handicraft knitted in wool, something we did not expect. |Amazing starry night ( dun miss...
